Q: Is Dealer LOGIX compliant with California Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) requirements?

A: Dealer LOIGX is fully compliant with the California BAR. § 3353 (a) states: "Estimates for Parts and Labor. Every dealer shall give to each customer a written estimated price for parts and labor for a specific job."  The Dealer LOGIX full disclosure process ensures complete disclosure of the services requested and estimate. To provide addiontional protection, full disclosure of declined services is also provided. The Dealer LOGIX "Full Transparency" process not only serves to protect the dealership, but also enhances the customer experience and overall customer satisfaction by ensuring agreement on initial services to rendered at the time of write-up.


Q: Reports - Why am I not receiving them?

A: Occasionally, our emailed reports are mistakenly sent to your Junk Mail folder. Please check there first. If your report is there, right mouse click on it and add us to your "Safe Senders" list. Now your reports should arrive in your Inbox. To add or change an email address, send your request to Dealer Support.


Q: I'm trying to Export my product page to Excel and it opens in my browser or doesn't open at all.

A: To configure Internet Explorer to open Office files in the appropriate Office program by using the Folder Options tool:

1. Open My Computer.

2. On the Tools menu (or the View menu), click Folder Options (or click Options).

3. Click the File Types tab.

4. In the Registered file types list, click the specific Office document type (for example, Microsoft Excel Worksheet), and then click Advanced (or click Edit).

5. In the Edit File Type dialog box, click to clear the Browse in same window check box (or click to clear the Open Web documents in place check box).

6. Click OK.
